PodWave Ltd protects your data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data We Collect

  • Account: Name, email, hashed password, role
  • Profile: Bio, title, general location, topics, podcast details, social links
  • Messages: Chat content (TLS encrypted in transit)
  • Payments: Handled by Stripe — we never store card details

Your Rights

  • Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection
  • Contact: [email protected] — 30-day response
  • Escalate to ICO: ico.org.uk

Security

TLS in transit. Firestore security rules restrict data access by UID. Firebase App Check (reCAPTCHA v3) prevents unauthorised API calls. Data hosted in Google Cloud EU (europe-west region).

Third Parties

Firebase/Google (EU hosting, GDPR DPA), Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email). No data sold. No advertising networks.
